So it's okay for people to appreciate skinny ( boney. Unhealthy skinny ) bodies but if you appreciate a bigger body ( which has health risks just like being skinny does ) you get shit for it and it's soo wrong. That idiot logic.

Yeah this is one of the many issues I am so bored of saying to the idiots of hate I receive like this all the time. I know it’s a radical idea, believing everyone should love themselves no matter their shape or size I must be crazy..

I’m so bored of what people have to say it’s literally killing me, just fuck off and find something more interesting to talk about. Believe it or not, in no way, shape or form do I care about your opinions on my apparent lifestyle or body. Not once did I ever say I was.

I respect your views and I think all women should have equal rights, all sizes, races, genders. What I don't understand is.. Some fat acceptance peeps are not people with a big body structure, but overweight or obese. When you say fat, it is assumed that person is large mainly because of an excess of *fat* and THAT is dangerous. Health issues and all that entails. I've seen peeps saying fabulously obese instead of morbidly obese. Isn't it dangerous to mix body positivity with obesity compliance?

No. Body positivity is body positive no matter what.

That’s not body positivity, that’s fat acceptance. Body positivity is loving yourself and you can accept health facts and be body positive. You can’t do that with fat acceptance.

What the fuck are you even talking about?

I just wanted to say thank you. I found your blog a few seconds ago and now I'm in love with it. I never was and will be skinny, but your blog and you are giving me the strength to believe in me and myself. Thank you.

I don't want to offend you or anyone in the matter. It's just, what I find really hard to understand, is that being overweight is in fact unhealthy. I'm not saying that it's wrong to love yourself, because I really am a strong believer in that, it's just.. being overweight is an illness, it's bad for you, isn't it weird to accept it and see it as something 'positive?' it could actually kill you, you know. When do you draw the line between loving yourself and loving an unhealthy lifestyle?

My lifestyle isn’t unhealthy, stop being so ignorant. Even if it was that would be my choice. Every person I know does ‘potentially’ harmful things to there body, why arnt you going around asking people who get high or get drunk this exact same question?

My friend is super skinny and she's trying to lose weight and it's making me feel bad cause she tells me about it daily and she's saying things when I eat nondiet food.I want to lose weight too but I'm not strong enough. Sorry for my rant and thanks

Do not ever diet because you’re forced too, if you ever do, do it because you really want to. Most importantly learn to love yourself no matter what shape or size you are, your body will change so many times in your life. People who obsess about their bodies arnt happy with them. Don’t let these people being you down because they tend to do whatever it takes to make themselves feel better about themselves. Just pull a “yeah cool” and change the subject. You’re perfect the way you are, you’re strong and you don’t even need to change for anyone.

Her name is Taylor Townsend. She’s from Chicago and is only 18 years old. She is a professional tennis player currently playing in the second round of the French Open, one of the four Grand Slams. Not only is tennis a white dominated sport, but it’s a sport that considers it’s average players to be petite and slim.”Last year, the United States Tennis Association wanted to keep her out of the tournament (the junior US Open) because it believed her physical conditioning was lacking, even though she was the top-ranked junior girl in the world. She entered the tournament anyway and reached the quarterfinals.” Taylor is proving them all wrong, and is on the road to win the second round of her first French Open!

We live in a world where the top athletic tournaments in the world say “sure, you’ve demonstrated yourself to actually be incredibly good, but you look different so we think you should go away”

Incredible
